So, I'm watching Where Silence Has Lease. Data says that his adversary needed consciousness to beat him. Was the Enterprise computer able to create that? Wouldn't that make Noonian Soong's not that unique?

I'm just asking. I have watched and rewatched everything Star Trek for years, but I haven't really done more than that. I have watched it as entertainment, and nothing more. You guys, sometimes at least, seem to analyze the shit out of this, so what do you think?
