Connor Trinneer has landed the lead role in the Sci-Fi telepic “Termination Shock.” He’ll play a space smuggler with a mysterious and beautiful woman as his cargo. Trinneer’s credits include “Enterprise” and “Stargate: Atlantis.

Connor had said during Seatrek that he was having discussions about starring in a Sci Flick himself written by his writing partners. I wonder if this is what he was talking about. Hopefully this writing will be a bit better than the Precious Cargo episode - maybe more Han Solo'ish

I am very excited for Connor, though. It will be great to see him in something other than a guest-star role.

Either it will turn out really well and help give him boost when trying for movies from other studios, or it will turn out like most other SciFi Channel movies. Hopefully it will turn out good.

The only one I'm worried about is the "mysterious woman." I suspect there'll be a lot of action between the two of them and another bad actress will only drag down the chemistry.

Jinx I agree with you about which actress is hired for the movie Precious Cargo being mentioned I definitely agree about the Princess be an absolutely irritating character.

From what I have heard it actually is a remake of "Precious Cargo", including use of the same actress. Maybe David Goodman who posts here can confirm it. Hopefully DG gets to do the full writing this time without any interference/rewrites from Brannon Braga.

Its a bit late for April Fool's day, Cyrus Tut Tut on you...
