Monday's coming up fast! I've also learnt that my best friend isn't graduating with me. I'm excited, though, that I made it through.

It irritated me that one of my good friends (the only one in the same class and same department as me, and therefore the only one who would have gone to the same ceremony) skipped out of the graduation ceremony at the last minute. I am soooo giving him hell for that when I see him next time.

The high school graduating classes of 2009 were not alive (unless it took them more than 12 years to go through 12 grades) when the following movies came out -- Home Alone, Total Recall, Kindergarten Cop, Ghost, Pretty Woman, The Hunt For Red October, Dances With Wolves, Dick Tracy, Die Hard 2, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

We got casino Chips with our names on it....and we had our prom in a cave if that counts for anything.

Graduated from my one-year film education a few weeks back. Sure as hell ain't taking the optional second year. It's been a good experience and I've learned a lot about film and my own abilities, but it hasn't been much fun this spring.

My wife graduated from college today. The ceremony took about five hours but was totally worth it.

There was a department reception afterwords with beer and food, then we picked up a couple of cases on the way home and went out to dinner last night to celebrate.
