I knew something looked wrong. I even had "Voyages of the Imagination" open at the "Engines of Destiny" entry this morning and was trying to think why I needed that page open yesterday.

It reminds me a bit of the time people were here demanding that Pocket upload the texts of every submission ever made to the "Strange New Worlds" contests: the good, the bad and the almost-made-it.

I don't remember that, but I can't help but suspect that it was contributors to rather than buyers of SNW who were calling for that. I wonder if we'd still have SNW if all the people who wanted to be in it had bothered to buy it every year.

No, it was definitely readers getting quite irate that they were somehow being denied the right to read ST short stories that had been written but not shared.

A few unsuccessful contestants ended up promising to upload their stories by other means.
