Now that the last season of The Next Generation remastered has been released, it’s time for the complete series to follow. The UK release of Star Trek: The Next Generation – The Full Journey has just been announced. The collection features “every episode of the late 1980s/early 1990s Star Trek spin-off series plus a wealth […]

Hopefully this gets a lot of sales from those waiting on the fence to buy the whole show together. The more sales, the better chance we get DS9.

I'd buy this for sure, but it needs to have the stand-alone releases of the 2-Parters, ie. Best of Both Worlds. I'd just like the option of watching those too. :)

Does anyone know if the UK box set is region locked, or when we might expect a NA release of something like this?

Trekcore reports the UK season sets are currently discounted on Amazon.co.uk.

All seasons combined for £154.50 GBP! (Approx 246.75 USD, excl. shipping). Rather cheaper than this combo box set.

(Or just the first 5 seasons combined for £87.50 GBP / 139.76 USD.)

Shouldn't it read something like this:
"With the last season of The Next Generation remastered soon to be released..."?

I'm not sure who's gonna pay £220 for the complete set when seasons 1-5 are £18 each at Amazon.co.uk.

The last season has -not- been released. According to Amazon, it's not being released until Dec. 2.

The error was acknowledged in the "story" on the main page, but it has not been corrected. Please correct it.

Yep, that's a good price.

Having picked up 1-5 for just over £80, however, I should be able to pick up the final two seasons for a little less than that. :)

That's a good price for the TNG bluray, but is there any word on the Region A release of the complete series?

The blurays are region free, only the packaging has the required UK markings. The Region A release hasn't been announced, but I think it's safe to bet on the complete series being released here as well.

The product details on the link list it as Region B/2. I'm not sure I'd want to risk it unless I was sure it would play on a Region A player.

I'm curious why there has only been mention of the UK release. If it's like the TOS release, then it'll be December 15 for the complete series release as well.

I'd wait for the Region A release as well, but I'd guarantee this complete series set is just the original individual season disks repackaged.

Regarding the announcement, we've seen this with other releases too. Typically the release announcements vary based on the market, so the US may have something announced first or it may be the last country to be announced, depending on the distributor in a given market.
