Any particuarly good? I've pretty much read the Metal Gear ones from IDW, despite the somewhat abstract art styles and some notable changes to the story (Such as giving Snake more to do in MGS2 like rescuing Emma, who is also portrayed as more confident and punk than her game self; and also changing the nature of Psycho Mantis's illusions as well for obvious reasons; plus references in MGS to plot threads in 2, and some MGS3 references in MGS2 such as Ocelot hallucinating The Sorrow). The graphic novels also seemed to have somewhat inspired the cutscenes of the PSP titles, Portable Ops and Peace Walker, with Ashley wood providing some of the artwork.

Dark Horse has apparently done a lot, including "Last of Us" "Uncharted" "Mass Effect"...plus somewhat older franchises such as Tomb Raider, Street Fighter, Sonic, Mega Man etc. have gone through several different comics with different companies. I'm curious if any of them are worth checking out though.

Plus game tie-ins for larger properties like Star Wars (The Jedi Knight, Starfighter, Force Unleashed and The Old Republic stuff) and DC of course has had fairly long-running comic series based on Injustice and the Arkham series as well.

I know Valiant had a short-lived Nintendo comics adaptation, but I don't remember it being any good. I think their characters seem to be a bit more manga-oriented anyway (Hence the best stuff being imported for those such as the Link to the past adaptation)

There used to be an awesome superhero MMORPG called City of Heroes that also had associated comic books - and they also called the updates to the game "Issues". :D
