Comic books vs. web shows

It's the battle of visual mediums!

One medium is a combination of words and images with the ability to tell stories in ways that books and movies can never fully replicate.
The other can be seen in every part of the world that has Internet access, has free range when it comes to content, and is free from the network interference which TV shows are often plagued by.

Which would you choose as the winner and why?

I'm not even sure the two can be compared. That could be ignorance on my part, but I'd venture to say that the similarities between the two are minimal at best.
