Yes, he's been cast in one of the lead roles in the ABC version of the BBC series. I'm happy for him, he's a great actor and we get to see him again.

This is pretty freaky. I mentioned in another thread that I think he would be perfect in the role as the hardened police chief. I never thought they would go with him though.
