Clues
This was a GREAT episode: the underlying theme of human’s unraveling a mystery was awesome; hinted at by the holodek program and it was cool that data only knew what happened (along with the audience) in the end. Great episode!!
I watched this a few weeks ago when I threw in a random disc of TNG. I seem to remember it as one of my faves from season 4. I definately loved it the first time I saw it and wasn't sure what was going on.
I am so frustrated! Every time someone mentions how great Clues is I remember the last time I saw it and coming across a big, fat glitch in the storytelling. Now I can't remember what it was, and at the time when I posted what it was, noone understood what the hell I was talking about! Now I'm worried that if I go back and watch the episode and can't see the error, I'll get even more frustrated!
Liked most of it, but hated the ending, I thought Picard agreed to have his and his crew's mines wiped a little to quickly. None of his crew objected? I would have. Kirk would have talked them out of it, and probably into destroying themselves.
