Hey, everyone.

I've been posting on these forums for quite a while. As some of you may or may not know, during the time when I'm not posting on these forums I'm an aspiring filmmaker. I've made a couple of short films, which you can see here.

I'm currently running a fundraising campaign for my next film, the psychological thriller Closure. We have 5 days remaining on our campaign and we have raised $3,580 to date - which means we've reached 72% of our fundraising goal, but we still have some ways to go before we reach our ultimate fundraising goal of $5,000.

Check out our promo video, where we describe and talk about the film.

The film is essentially about falling out of love, but told from the perspective of the two people in the relationship. I'm trying to tell what might seem like a familiar story but told in a very different way.

You can watch our announcement trailer here:

If the short film is successful, I plan on making a feature-length version of the story. The feature would be split into 2 parts - a "Volume 1" and a "Volume 2" - as each volume would focus entirely on one perspective of the relationship. The idea is to create a very unique experience where you see things from one person's POV and then see things from another - hopefully giving you a full, complete experience.

However, to get there, we need your help. With the holidays around the corner, I understand finances are probably tight but any help would be greatly appreciated. If you like indie movies or movies focusing on real struggles and real people, hopefully Closure will be the movie for you. :)

I donated and can say that the project will be worth your time if you've followed JA's career and are familiar with his work. This is something that has been near and dear to my heart--a terrific story and if "Wake" and "Streamline" have been any indication--we're in for another treat. Also the fact that Joel is returning has me excited. He was brilliant in "Streamline".

I think Wake is a great film and I'd go as far as to say it's a masterpiece. I would love to donate but I'm a little broke right now. However, I get paid on Thursday and I will donate a little then :)

Thank you for the encouraging and supportive sentiments, Admiral_Young and Aldo!

Thanks for being willing to donate as well, Aldo! Really appreciate it. :)

I donated, as well! Always good to support fellow filmmakers, artists of any sort, friends and TrekBBS colleagues!

You're a talent, JA...good luck getting this next masterpiece made! :)

I'm afraid solicitation for money is against the board rules, so I'll have to close this one.
