I can model in CG, but I cannot draw for the life of me. It's a skill I'd love to develop.

That's very good. Not everyone has that ability. I had a high school friend that went to a prestigious Art College. He uses his talent to make a living in industry and draws for fun. Can you use your talent in everyday work or is it just a side hobby for now?

I create art for a living, thankfully, but this is a labor of love that I hope to finish one day.

Glad to hear that you can use your talents to make a living. Trek is a great platform to comment on the human condition and to have fun. It would be great to write it and like you draw it.
