What I don't like to see is when unusual things are looked at askance and the ones making the reports are cast in an unfairly suspicious light for various reasons.
That's hardly the intent. I mean, it's just a memory of a movie -- it's not like it's anything important. And pointing out that human memory is fallible is hardly a personal criticism, since it's a universal fact of how human cognition works. There are decades of research proving that we alter our memories every time we revisit them.
So there's no "looking askance" and nothing to be "suspicious" about, because there's nothing wrong with having exactly the same imperfections of memory as every other person in the world.
