I'm sorry, but I still don't understand how the JLA transporter works on a Kryptonian under a yellow sun.

Invunerable.

It should not work; he needs to fly.

That would be a major vulnerability.

Just an idle question for The Community (sp?)

I assume that the JLA transporter doesn't take a person apart at the subatomic level and then reconstitute them elsewhere. (If it could, that would be a fantastic weapon; you simply don't reconstitute the person you transport, or you disperse the atoms if you do reconstitute. I doubt that even Superman, fully powered, would be invulnerable to that.)

Instead, I assume that it creates a minor space-time rip, not unlike a wormhole, that connects two points.

This is what the DC Comics Database Wiki has on the teleporter, which isn't much at all.

Like Allyn stated, I don't think the JLA teleporters are meant to work like the ones from the Star Trek universe. The article refers to it as a relativity beam unit. I think they're more meant to be wormhole like devices like Allyn theorized so they would not affect the person at a subatomic level.
