Chuck: not all that good

Here in the UK it started about the same time as "Big Bang Theory". At first I appreciated Chuck for being different, snappily written and the actors well chosen.

After a few weeks, BBT grew on me (probably when one of the characters confessed to watching Doctor Who at 6am on a Saturday morning
) Chuck then got a little samey, the same people, did sort of the same things, but had gotten to know each other a little bit better.

Maybe the second season for each will make things clearer.

I just can't imagine Chuck breaking formula.

Hell, why should it? The network has already prereupped them committing to 20 + episodes for season 2. Although they did that last year, thinking that the Strike wouldn't bust their chops so much.
