Welcome back Chuck!

The Olympics are over. And so is February. It's the first of March and Mondays are Chuckdays once again.

Chuck goes undercover as the world's most dangerous assassin. Brandon Routh and Kristin Kreuk guest star.

Also, NBC has produced a preview for the remainder of the season. Check it out.
Chuck sure seems to be getting over his aversion to guns.

two things.... I like brunettes so I think I would kept kristen....
when were we ever promised that chuck would remain the same as he was in the S01E01...
This evolution of chuck... I hope they don't lose the lightheartedness of the first few seasons....

I like brunettes so I think I would kept kristen....

Without a doubt. Takes a special kind of jackass to dump her with her parents watching AND while she was wearing that gorgeous red dress. I know, he was just trying to be true to himself, blah, blah.... but it's still crappy. I did like how Hannah handled the situation, though. And just wait 'till Chuck sees that Sarah (or is it Sam, now?) and Shaw are still together.

Zachari Levi's did a fabulous job playing Chuck imitating that assassin at the beginning. :guffaw:

Did they give a reason for why he didn't keep up the voice?

Pretty much copied the Lou arc with Hannah.

I am perfectly okay with that if it gives Chuck and Sarah some meaningful character development, which tonight's episode did IMO. I'm utterly relieved that Hannah didn't turn out to be a Ring agent or any kind of spy, which is where I thought they were headed with this. I really should trust that the writers won't pull anything THAT inane.

I'm really looking forward to the writers fleshing out this "Chuck's turning into a spy" angle. It's been a bit rushed and clunky so far but hopefully tonight's episode was a turning point.

And damn my senility for thinking Sarah gave a fake name (Sam) and was playing Shaw for reasons unknown. I failed to remember that neither of the names she provided in previous episodes (first name Jenny and middle name Lisa) were actually real names until I looked it up just now, and thought she threw out Sam as an indicator she was faking it.

  • Enjoyed the episode, but Sarah is falling too fast for Shaw. Why can't she put up a little more resistance?
  • That Sopranos guy (Paulie) always cracks me up.
  • I didn't like the impromptu dentisty by Chuck. Yuck.
  • Is that it for Kristin Kreuk on the show?

Looks like it, she has a pilot for a sitcom on CBS called Hitched coming up soon, produced by Josh schwartz

Wow they really made Chuck look like a dick. I think given that he's a spy and he puts those around him in danger that breaking up with Hannah was probably the fair thing to do. But couldn't he have done it a couple days later?

Talk about being the ultimate jackass doing it when you were supposed to be meeting her parents for a dinner and then breaking up with her DURING the dinner the day after you slept with her.

Oh I'll watch it too. If Kristin Kruek is in it.. I'll watch it! LOL

:>))

On another note.. good episode.. some good developments here as chuck is realizing the cost to doing his job well.... and I'm glad she kissed Shaw as I was recording the episode on one tv and watching soemthign else on another an came in at the end and saw kissing and looked away and thought it was chuck cause I looked away fast and was annoyed. I don't want Chuck and Sarah together.. at leats not any time soon. So I am glad he wasn't the one getting kissed. I REALLY want Chuck and Sarah to get SERIOUS with other people for an EXTENDED length of time.

I'm not really sure how I feel about all the angsty stuff from this ep just yet. I will likely need to watch it again to catch the stuff I missed the first viewing. But one thing is for sure:

Casey is the man.

"Only five people in the world can make this shot. Guess I'm one of 'em." ...Beauty.

Awesome episode!

I really loved it that they toned down the goofyness a bit (it becomes a bit boring after a while) and got serious.. well as serious as Chuck can get.

Chuck did really embark on a journey and he has changed but realized it now and we will see how he develops from now on (especially when he realizes that "Sam" and Shaw are now a couple).

Loved Casey as he saved the day.

Absolutely loved the "will they won't they" line from the Mafia guy indicating that the writers understood that this routine has been played to death.

Chuck is moving in a good directing and i like the developments.. it's getting a good mix of drama, action and comedy.

But one thing is for sure:

four... didn't he eliminate one of the five with that headshot...

Casey just took his place with the same shot.

I thought that was casey that chuch flashed about when talking to those mob enforces and that old man was talking about a gentleman he new who could do that.... one of the five... chuck flashed.... Picture blocked out.... then casey... already one of the five takes out one of ther other five.... confusing enough yet... I'm trying really hard... :p
