Christine Chapel in New film ?

Will Christine Chapel be in the new film ? Perhaps she was a med tech at teh Academy at the time. I always thought she was Gorgeous. Ms. Barret,. If you are reading this I mean it as a compliment. You had some pair of legs !

I'm actually slightly annoyed that they're using Uhura and Chekov, for that matter... unless they're ONLY there for background in a TOS-era "flashback scene," they'll just distract from the movie.

Two-hour films really can't work as large-cast ensemble things, if you ask me. Too many "main characters" usually means a weak plot.

Man, that "Hot Rod" Roddenberry sure knew how to work that casting couch...

Seriously, I always thought that Christine Chapel could be in the film, but only as a non-speaking role. "We" would know who she is, and Dr. McCoy could just call to her by name. With no lines, this would be the perfect spot for Jessica Simpson.

I think I'd rather have Carol Marcus in some manner... a video-note to Kirk, perhaps, or even a picture on his desk. Keri Russell would be perfect in such a role. With a professional wig to have her hair look something like Bibi Besch's did, that would be awesome. I'd think Keri would do something simple like that for them...

Jennfier Garner was talking about wanting to play a role in Trek XI. I think she'd do well as either Number One or Chapel. She doesn't even need to put on a blonde wig for Chapel since TMP and the other Trek films revealed that Chapel actually has dark hair (implying the character dyed her hair for whatever reason during the TOS era).
