Chris Obi posting videos-- new cast member?

hi all-- like many of you, I've very excited for this new show after so long.

I was browsing twitter this morning when I saw that cast member Chris Obi has been posting short, vague, but very enthusiastic videos to twitter with him and others driving around town, going to their exciting new jobs that they can't talk about. His enthusiasm is contagious!
The one he most recently posted also includes his fellow Klingon cast mate Shazad Latif, plus another actor, who I believe is Maulik Pancholy, formerly of 30 Rock. Could he be our next cast member? Looks promising.

And looking at Wikipedia it says he plays a role in American Gods. Can he do both series at the same time? Do they film at different times?

Yes, but it will create marketplace confusion, so Discovery has now been delayed till 2020.

Why are they in LA? On the way to the airport if it is Discovery related I guess. Could they be doing ADR for American Gods?
