Honestly, Eccleston was one of the few things that I did like about G.I. Joe. I wish he was in it more. (Although, it's strange how close his Scottish accent is to his real northern accent, and yet so far off.) I haven't seen The Seeker yet, but I bought it just for Eccleston's presence.
In the meantime, I'm looking forward to Thor 2 no matter what. Thor was my favorite of all the Marvel Studios movies so far. I'm just hoping that the new director will give it as much style & pathos & humor as Kenneth Branagh did. (I'm not too familiar with Alan Taylor but he did direct a few episodes of Homicide: Life on the Street. That earns a lot of points with me.)
