Chillin at the Food Court

I always go for the chicken nuggets with honey mustard sauce.

And now I'm hungry for them. Thank God tomorrow's not Sunday.

Oh, the chicken nuggets are so good.
If I get a chance to find the new Chick-Fil-A (somewhere in the tri-state area now), I'll have to eat those since I can't eat much bread.

The sky must be falling or some shit like that because I'm about to agree with Babganoosh about Costco's hotdogs. Those things are fantastic, and just filling enough *and* the right price when you eat them.

One more epic win for Costco, says I.

:guffaw: Next thing you know I'll actually admit to watching nuBSG...And the iron shall lie down with the lamp. Hell of a thing, innit? ;)

Unfortunately Costco is too far away for me to be able to take regular advantage. (Plus I have to mooch off my dad's membership there anyway. :p ) In the meantime, QuikTrip also has good hot dogs. And much closer besides.

Most of the food courts around here, though, are either well on their way to joining the rest of their brethren in mall-death (Crossroads), too far away just like Costco (Oak View), or have only one or two places that interest me (Westroads - home of the DQ I just mentioned upthread). I never was that much for browsing anyway, not even when it's food.

Well, let's not be to hasty. Actually watching the show and THEN commenting, reading about, thinking about, and conversing about it would just make too much sense now, wouldn't it?

The big question of the board then really becomes, "Is there a DQ in the Delta Quadrant?" and if so, why the FUCK didn't Neelix take them there?

He was trying to keep it a secret. He didn't want Janeway to get her own franchise. He'd just gotten his DQ because the Kazon lost their license..something about the Kazon not wanting to wear hair nets.

Well, being that the Kazon all shampooed with Italian salad dressing, I can understand why Neelix would be cautious.

I eat lunch at Costco about once a month. You graze all the free samples and then top it off with a loaded up hot dog. Inexpensive and educational.

There's one mall here that has a decent food court. I like to go to the DQ and have a sundae.

Chik-Fil-A has never existed in this town that I'm aware of. It sounds delicious though...

You're torturing me! I wish they'd hurry up and move to Chicago already. That is some of the best fast food ever, right there.

Then again I'd probably be obese within a month if they were around here.

If it makes you feel any better, I torture me too. Chick-Fil-A moved out of this area. The nearest one is an hour's drive.

Have you tried the Southern Style Chicken Sandwich at McDonald's? It's not exactly like Chik-fil-a but it's fairly close.

I worship Chick-Fil-A. It's the only fast food I actually want to eat. Thankfully, there are several of them up where I live.

The mall in Columbia is actually very nice, and is thriving (and they have a Chick-Fil-A in the food court, so it's all good). I like food courts, but I definitely notice a decline in variety and quality. Every food court seems to have a McDonald's, Taco Bell, and Sbarro. Three places I hate. Columbia used to have a decent pizza place - Mamma Ilardo's - but it recently closed. And guess what they're replacing it with - yup, Sbarro. Can't someone else tap into the food court pizza market?

The foodcourts around here only have restaurants.. the BKs, McD are lofted off to the sides..
I go to foodcourts for the sushi.. ;)

The only nearby mall with a half decent food court would be St Enochs in Glasgow with a few recognisable chains and some others. Theres Buchannon Galleries nearby but it has less options.

The closest to me has a coffee shop, Subway and an overpriced bakery. I only ever shopped there when the coffee shop never charged me for food and Subway when 'cute Chinese girl' was in and she'd give me free coffee :)
