Not sure if someone posted a thread for this or not, but I just saw this great episode of BATMAN/BRAVE AND BOLD. It was really cool, mighty cool, seeing both the Spectre and Phantom Stranger together. (Zantana is in the teaser).
The story follows the origin of Batman quite well. I don't want to spoil it at all, but its bevy of vocal talent. Wow, this dosnt sound like a review, just a recap of what they said was going to on the episode. Well, trust me, I did see it.
By the way, I downloaded it via XBOX from the DC COMICS network. Last night on CARTOON NETWORK it was a repeat (teen titans episode). So, if you have XBOX you can see this one, and the past other new ones (SHAZAM and the SUPERBATMAN episode as well).
I have some minor issues with CHILL OF THE NIGHT. I would like to have seen more, umm, POWER out of the Spectre and Phantom Stranger. These are DC's two biggest guns and I know any story with them has to have its wings clipped to keep it grounded. I hope next time we see those two, more happens.
And kudos to Mark Hamil. He does the voice of Spectre and it doesn't even sound like him. DEEEEEP voice really threw me off..
best line of the episode? When Phantom Stranger scolds Batman, Batman responds with..
"Go haunt a house,"...a wink at HOUSE OF MYSTERY, what do you think Greg?
