my home would be: Crystal cave at the north pole

my backyard would have: Random aliens to talk to

Car: A robot. Preferably one that looked like a lion and really roared (I remember that letter to Santa exceptionally well).
Home: Pirate Ship
Best Friend: The Traveller (I know, I know, but I was 5! And I desperately wanted him to save me and take me on adventures across the universe.)
Backyard: Would be full of fossils and buried treasure.
Dinners: chocolate chip cookies
Kids' names: Milo (from the Phantom Tollbooth, and still the name I'd name a son) and Sebastian (don't know why, but I always liked it)

What it turned out: Astronomer! (yay! --- even if astronomy turned out to involve way less spaceships than I imagined.)

My wife be: No time for wives, too busy doing science.
What it turned out: I happily live with my fiancée. (So, score for the old iguana!)

My car would be: a Ferrari Testarossa.
What it turned out: a Toyota Yaris (ok, as an Italian, I really fumbled this.)

My home would be: Wayne Manor.
What it turned out: a cozy little condo in the outskirts of the city (well, less rooms to dust, I guess... )

My best friend would be: my best friend from grade school.
What it turned out: my best friend from high school (ok, kinda boring.)

My backyard would have: I live in Italy, we don't have backyards.

All my dinners would include: Meatloaf.
What it turned out: Salad. (The 7-years old iguana in my mind is horrified, I tell you.)

My kids would be named: Jules and Verne.
What it turned out: no kids yet... so there is hope for young Master Jules and li'l Verny.

my car would be: A Visitor fighter from V. With a "Beam Me Up Scotty" bumper sticker. Because there is no intelligent life here.

my home would be: Summer in my vast Ocean fortress. Winter in my vast fortress at the North Pole. Rest of the year in my vast orbital space station fortress.

my best friend would be: Mr. Spock. Or Nightcrawler.

my backyard would have: Giant tree house shaped like a flying saucer. It would have both a retractable ladder and a retractable ramp. And bunk beds. Because every kid thinks those are cool.

all my dinners would include: Those little "egg rolls" they used to sell back in the 70s that looked like the pizza rolls they sell now. That and blue fruit and blue Kool Aide. Y'know, for Mr. Spock.
