Chekov

[Emissary of the Prophets]

I just finished listening to the Shuttlepod Show podcast with Walter Koenig as the special guest. It got me eager to read a bit more about Chekov.
What are the best novels to read where he plays a major role in the story???

L.A. Graf novels are going to be your jam, as they love featuring Chekov, Sulu, and Uhura. The Kobayashi Maru comes to mind first. He also had a part to play in Vulcan's Soul: Exodus.

He also figures prominently in DM's latest opus, Harm's Way.

I had to look up the title since it's been almost 20 (!) years, but I remember The Sundered by Martin & Mangels being a cool Excelsior story featuring Capt. Sulu and his first officer Chekov.

Since Graf and Kobayashi Maru have already been mentioned, I'm going to say Uhura's Song - there's some good Chekov scenes in it.
Deep Domain by Howard Weinstein actually has Chekov on the cover.
