Channel 4 + True blood question (no spoilers)

I am recording True Blood on Channel 4, and downloaded and watched the first two that I'd missed and can now continue with Channel 4 recordings.

However, being HBO, it's rather adult at times. Does anyone here know if Channel 4 have made any cuts?

I don't quite trust UK TV, and I would hate to lose Jason sex scenes. :D

Thanks

It seems quite adult from what I've seen. There were definitely naughty things happening in the last two episode I've seen. But as I've only seen the C4 broadcasts, I'm not in a position to know for sure if any cuts have been made...

Yeah, a bit of a hard question: is something missing that you wouldn't have seen!

I just did a Google search, and thought "Ooh someone asked the same question as me." And it's my thread. Google index FASSST these days.

As far as I know there's been no cuts. I didn't notice any in the first episode, but that's the only one I'd seen already.
It's on after 10pm so they're allowed the equivalent of an 18 rating and that's what the DVDs are.

I'm just comparing ep 3 now. Which is a good thing, as Channel 4 had a techincal fault at the end and I can watch it on a download!

I'm just now watching True Blood S1 myself. I'm up to episode 7. Now while the ladies are generally nice that Jason hooks up with I've not yet noticed too much in the way of plot that would affect it if they were edited down or out altogether. As of now anyway, maybe when the whole season unwinds I'll think different but as of now its seems like minimal characterization in those scenes.

I watched it on FX, not Ch 4, but I believe Channel 4 in general don't make cuts when showing programmes late. Different matter when showing Angel at tea-time, obviously.

Of course, they will show it at a ridiculously late time and push it all round the schedules, just like they did with Sleeper Cell, the West Wing, Studio 60, NYPD Blue, etc etc ...

NYPD Blue, etc etc ...

I never got that, it was bad enough that The Sopranos was on so late and that was on just before it. Did they leave it on for people to tape and watch the following night? Shame that Generation Kill is on so late after True Blood, but then at least its only a miniseries.

I've never seen this show, but if I wonder if the ratings will drop now, since the Season 1 DVD is already out. If I were a fan I would certainly pick that up and sod waiting week after week for episodes
