No, I hope they go for it. Closure for everyone that way.

It's fine, you can ban me again for that one if you like. It was worth it.

There is a Philip Lanyon that has worked as a cinematographer on Discovery and Picard. From his imdb photo, there is at least a slight resemblance.

    I wonder...

Well, actually it was only the first half. There was supposed to be a Battlefield Earth Part Deux, but it never happened.

Ok, assuming this is true and not even more fiction from that Lane guy, how long should it take to put it all together an release it in some form? I know nothing about these things but I know there's lot's of folk on here that have worked and still work on these projects, what would be a reasonable time-frame for it to see the light of day?

Several months at the earliest. Editing is and VFX is a process.

    A long one.

Alec Peters has been smacked down again, has to pay around $300,000 in legal fees to Paramount for constant settlement breaches. Furthermore, his girlfriend testified that she was unaware she'd been made CEO of Ares Studios and had zero knowledge of the financial doings of Axanar.

That one sounds... not insignificant.

So, Krissstal is turning state's evidence against AP and Axanar? Hoooboy... Sounds like the biggest rats are finally jumping ship now. Maybe she saw Jonestown II on the horizon with this new cult leader dude added to the mix and decided things were getting a little too weird.

Does he even have $300K anymore? My Spidey-senses tell me there's an emergency donation request coming... to KEEP THE DREAM ALIVE!!!

The lawer by training represented himself this time. I think that should tell you everything.

Will he pay up, though or just carry on? He still owes $90,000 from that Enterprise model sale years ago AFAIK.

I cannot wait to see how he and his closest try to spin this.

Reading the article on Axamonitor Facebook page, it is funny seeing Paramount complaining that after 7 years there is still no Axanar film.

They aren't the only ones. :vulcan: But yes, that is an amusing and quasi-ironic development.
