Do any of the novels shed light on how Carol views Klingons following the death of her son at their hands? I have heard that she meets Maltz, one of the Klingons responsible for David's death, in the Genesis Wave books, but I don't know anything about what her attitude is toward him. At the beginning of the novelization of The Undiscovered Country, she's badly injured in a Klingon attack on the colony where she lives, and rails against them.
