Carlyle Commits to SGU

Says Digital Spy.

Good news, in my view.

 

In this economy keep whatever job you can I guess, a paycheck is a paycheck, plus it gives him exposure

 

^I think we all had enough of Carlyle being exposed in one of his previous jobs.

 

He better stay--I haven't been a fan of the writing of his character sometimes, but he's holding the show together, no question.

 

He's the McKay of SGU, the only reason to keep watching

 

Same here.

 

He's doing a good job so I'm glad he's staying. I love to hate Dr. Rush.

 

Yeah, I'm not sure I'd keep watching if he left.

 

Thank god. I like the show, but half of that is Carlyle.

Now, on to more important matters...

Who are the knockouts in Brent and Jack Bauer's avatars? Inquiring minds want to know.

 

He's one of the few reasons I do watch when I watch it.

 

And the other half would be Eli.

 

I don't know who Brent's is but mine is Minka Kelly.

 

Wow, from Parenthood? She's practically unrecognizable in that pic. Nice. And she's younger than me by three months...hmmm...I figured she was mid thirties. Anyway.

As for the "other half" of my enjoyment of SGU, I find the show in general to be entertaining, with only a couple concepts/characters that suck. It's much more enjoyable to watch the SGU crew teeter on the precipice of horrible death week-to-week than the majority of SG1's camp and galaxy-spanning threat of the week defeated by four people with P90s or pretty much anything from Atlantis (except for McKay).
