yes it's a fantastic book, by reeves-stevens
its the best star trek book i have read, hands down

DS9 probably got the best tie-in reference books, The Making of DS9, the Companion and the Technical Manual. I really don't like Trek tech and people trying to make it sound real, but the DS9 TM had all these interesting mentions of events, locations and ships etc, such as the commander's office always facing towards Cardassia or the event the wormhole underwent in The Visitor being seen on Bajor for centuries.
