Cardassian Fighter Design on 'Eavesdropping'

I thought I would share (in case any of our Cardassian fans had missed out) that John Eaves has shared on his blog a fighter design he was developing for what became Star Trek Online here.

I think it's a nice companion for the Galor, and perhaps better than the Hideki. Enjoy!

To me it looks more like a Starfleet vessel than anything else.

But the Hideki was shaped almost exactly like the Defiant!

Maybe the Cardassians just like ripping off Starfleet?

I dunno... it's probably like John said, the lack of color. Plus the 'nacelles' seem a tad prominent.

The front end looks pretty good--the only thing is, the back end is lacking the traditional "forked ray's tail" structure you see on the Galor, the Hideki...AND the Cardassian vole (not to mention the Union emblem). Maybe in the proper color scheme it would be a bit more convincing, but that's the one issue I have with the design.

Me likely! I think it's a slight variation on the old Cardassian standard and it looks fast and maneuverable to me.
If you see some of the Birth of the Federation Cardassian ships you'll find some interesting designs(which I also like)

I think they are from the TNG period (2360-2370). I see that you have noticed the rather... blocky design of these Cardassian warships.
Rest assured that the two main ships are in fact supposed to be the Glorious Galor Class that we all know and love.

(I honestly don't know what an ENT era Cardassian ship would look like)
