It turns out that wearing the Sixth Doctor's coat to a formal event is not appropriate.

The Doctor? His best plans failed before the Master's brilliance.
UNIT? Its soldiers were no match for his cunning.
Torchwood? They were helpless in his presence.
The hypnotist who made him incontinent everytime he heard drums? That was just plain low.

Even the Second Doctor and Jamie have a hard time understanding the Sixth Doctor's choice of outfit.

Doctor: Oh, a blonde! Fantastic!

Billie knew that Chris had lost it when he started singing the "Oooo-oooo-OOOO" part of the DW theme at her in between takes.
