This is harder than I thought. l've started writing a story, but the first person perspective isn't easy to pull off, especially regarding dialogue and the description of how people look.
I'm not even sure I can post it in this thread if and when it's finished. It's sort of a crossover, well, actually more than that, it's the Doctor (from Doctor Who) visiting the Captain's Table.

you can post it here....is there a star trek captain he meets there? (i'd prefer some kind of relation to star trek [canon or your fanfic captain; doesn't matter]) but it's no big deal

There aren't really any known Star Trek captains but the other patrons he interacts with are of course from the Trekverse.
