I have some technical drawings I found on the Net once. They were corrections of Michael McMaster's version of the TOS captain's chair. Unfortunately I'm at work and can't locate them. If I find them I'll let you know.

I would personally be more interested in schematics for the chairs used in the TMP refit with the folding arms and auto-adjusting headrests. Always loved those things, but info is more difficult to come by.

I am, yes, but I think the OP was wanting info on the TOS chair. Sorry to derail the topic.

Then there's this image from the Haynes manual that looks like it could catapult the Captain up and over the nav/helm controls, head first into the view screen. I honestly don't know where they came up with that idea.

I don't get it either. Maybe it's booby-trapped in case someone sits in the chair without permission.
