I agree... he has matured over the course of his character from "hailing frequencies open, Captain" to a Command Officer of distinction and honor.
I always wanted to see him become Chancellor of the High Council. He would bring that same honor and distinction to the whole Klingon Empire.

I also think that would be cool to see. I think he might actually get in a bit more firefights than discussions.

Didn't Sisko say that Worf would never get a command of his own after the events of Season 6's "Change of Heart?"

EXACTLY! Besides, if Trek were real, with all the crews and ships that were destroyed in the Great War, or the Alpha Quadrant War, or whatever they would call it, every one of the NCC-1701E senior staff that wanted a ship would no doubt have one.

I agree. I also think Sisko over stated that. SF should have never sent husband and wife on a mission like that anyway. With Worf's combined experience in SF and as Martok's XO, he's far too versatile to never get a command.
