Captain Kirk Versus Captain Tracy

Captain Kirk defeated numerous aliens in personal combat (Gorn, Khan, etc.) yet he had some difficulty fighting Captain Tracy in Omega Glory. Twice, before the final fight, Kirk got lessoned in how to defeat an opponent. Why do you think he had a little trouble with Captain Tracy? Use the pattented Kirk drop kick on Tracy next time!

See, Tracy graduated from the same academy Kirk did, so he no doubt also knew all of the Kirk Fu moves, making Kirk's job more difficult.

Yes, he sure looked like he knew all the Kirk moves in that first, brief fight. He looked like Muhammed Ali against me. Pow! A knockout in 5 seconds or less.

Kirk didn't really out fight Khan or The Gorn, he beat them with his mind! Ron Tracey was an older more experienced Captain according to Kirk so maybe Kirk was a little in awe of him to start with as well and Tracey was a much larger man!

Well I thought it was that thingy he removed from the console that actually defeated Khan, by his repeatedly hitting him in his genetically superior kidney area? Okay but Khan's greater intellect never suspected that Kirk would do this so Kirk wins by craftiness and his cunning mind!

Yes. Scotty knew a big fight scene was coming up so planned ahead and drilled holes in the engineering consoles and put in the Anti-Khan clubs, which were never to be seen again.
