Captain Imahara

[Nightfall to-Ennien]

It seems like a rather specific name for it to be a coincidence, so I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge what seemed to be a nice little tribute in them naming the captain of the Armstrong after Grant Imahara, who we lost far too early last July.

I’m sure you’re exactly correct. With his role playing Sulu on Star Trek Continues we know Grant was a huge Trek fan, in addition to the just awesome person he was.

Truly, this seems to be a wonderfully sweet tribute.

The co-author of All is Possible, Discovery writer’s assistant Eric J. Robbins, confirmed that the Captain is indeed named after Grant.
