So I got a temporary job working as a canvasser for the democratic party.
I walk around designated neighborhoods and ask people if they are willing to re elect a certain politician.
For the most parts its been interesting but some people can be down right rude.
The other day I knocked on a house and I went through my usual speech. The woman rudely told me
"Well I was going to vote for him until someone knocked on my door at 8:30pm"
Or
"She doesn't live here anymore and i'm a republican goodbye"
With special emphasis on "goodbye" where people say it in a assholeish/sarcastic way.
I've also got some extremely serious campaign bosses
"We're two weeks away from elections. It's fucking crunch time!"
"I don't care how you do it just get it fucking done"
