Hah! My mother gets upset at the thought that I never get to have (American) Thanksgiving with the family, so over the years she has TWICE driven from Philadelphia to Ontario over the Columbus Day weekend with the sole purpose of making Canadian Thanksgiving dinner for me. The second time is this year. In fact, she and my step-father are en route as I type this. My mom is awesome.

Have eaten much turkey. Not as much as I could have done because both my kids have turned into turkey fiends, but am well-satisfied. And here too it's a gorgeous sunny day
