Can you help me identify this ship?

Interesting that the ferengi and cardassian ships are facing out, unlike the others. Guess the photog didn't know his trek.

Looks more like the Type 6 shuttle used in TNG.

Also,

12: Constitution from TOS
1: Ferengi D'kora marauder
2: Klingon Voodieh future warship
3: Excelsior with Enterprise-B modifications
4: Unnamed Romulan ship from TOS
5: Klingon or Romulan battle cruiser from TOS (some call this one Akif)
6: Galaxy
7: Cardassian Galor
8: Romulan D'deridex warbird
9: unmodified Excelsior
10: Klingon bird of prey (names K'Vort and B'Rel have been bandied about)

How much would this thing cost home-made, excluding the price of the clock? Twelve Micro Machines from apparent three four-packs...

are you sure #2 isn't a Negh'Var?

Actually, "Voodieh" seems to be the non-canonical name that has attached itself to the "All Good Things" version of this vessel. "Negh'Var" was the official name for this vessel once it started making regular appearances in DS9. I think Voodieh came from the Decipher CCG set on one of its Klingon fleet cards and it sort-of stuck in the fandom, as there are some significant visual differences between the two designs.

As for "Akif" being associated with the TOS D-7, I've only ever heard "Klolode" being the name assigned to that particular class for the Klingons (non-canonical) and, of course, "K'T'Inga" for the TMP upgrade (canonical). FASA has the Romulan variant called "vas'Kalabam". Never heard of "Akif", but I would be interested to hear where this name might have originated. If I were to hazard a guess, I would say SFB, but not certain about that one at all.

And yes, I am a nerd too. A nerd...and proud... :p

I now have the vague idea that "Akif" would be Diane Duane's take on the Romulan counterpart to "Klolode".

...Yup, Memory Beta seems to confirm that the terminology comes from The Romulan Way.

On the Klingon supership issue, I recommend Bernd Schneider's article with Jörg Hillebrand's screencap magic:

http://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/articles/neghvar.htm

That's the only place I have seen "Voodieh" transliterated from Klingonese, BTW... But "VoDIeH" looks sorta consistent.

Ah! Thanks for the clarification on "Akif". Cool article about the Negh'var/VooDIeH. Leave it to Ex Astris to find all the design nuances.

Actually, Akif is supposed to be the Klingon designation for the class, ships of which were built by Klingons, then sold/traded to the Romulans. They were never "counterparts", they were the acutal Klingon versions. Duane makes a point of having Ael "notice" that during her inspection tour of her little "fleet".

And that was first brought up in "My Enemy, My Ally", not "The Romulan way.

As for Klolode, I always thought that was just one of the names for Kang's ship. (Not my favorite name, BTW, I prefer IKS Voh'tahk)

Not sure where Klolode came from, to be honest. It's an old name, that I know. Like, late 70's - early 80's fandom. Probably one of those old "Officer Manuals" that you could find at conventions back then.

The name I've heard associated with Romulan-painted Klingon ships is the Stormbird class.

Stormbirds aren't just "Romulan painted". Their systems are almost entirely Romulan made mounted in a Klingon hull. The other visible difference between them and their Klingon original versions are the warp nacelles, which are of Romulan design.

^^^ The later upgraded K'T'Inga variants (V-11 Stormbird) had the different nacelles, yes. But the TOS variants appeared identical to its Klingon counterparts, but with different sigils, per "Enterprise Incident".

And this is all non-canon FASA stuff.
