I do alot of business on the web, but I have recently discoverd I can not send or get e-mail from people who have America Online:(, can somebody tell me why? many thanks in advance. And if this helps any I have a Verizon account, does that have anything to do with the trouble I'm having?

First question, when you try to send to an AOL account, are you getting a bounceback? That would be one of the "Mailer-Daemon" failure messages. If so, what is it telling you?

Yep^^ Lots of spam and ISP filters weed out AOL accounts. Get a real Internet provider and get off of the Internet for the Unenlightened.

Right, I know you don't have an AOL account, but you said you are unable to send to or get mail from AOL accounts.

When you try to send an E-Mail to someone else who IS on AOL, are you getting a Mailer Daemon bounceback message, telling you the message was "undeliverable" or any other kind of error message?

If you're not sure, set up a free dummy account at AOL.com, and then try to send e-mail to that dummy account. If you do go that way, have that dummy account try to send to your "real" Verizon address and see if you get a bounceback message on AOL's end.
