I'm trying to remember the name of an old game show for children, which I believe was shown on the BBC in the UK (though it could easily have been on ITV). As far as I can remember, it would have been between 1985 and 1995, as I was definitely in primary school when it was on.
The show had a presenter asking three teams of children (I believe two or three children per team) questions; the teams were normally red, yellow and blue, and each team wore their team's colour top and trousers.
For the final round the leading team would get the chance to go onto a sort of game board, where they'd get the chance to either answer more questions or do a challenge for one, two or three moves forward on the board, in an attempt to reach the end. I guess that answering a question wrong or failing a challenge at that stage would have knocked them out, but that's speculation.
Something that does stick in my mind is that in the final, they had six teams instead of three - they introduced Green, Orange and Purple teams.
Does anyone have any idea what game show I'm thinking of? A google hunt hasn't turned much up.
