Would it be a waste of time and money to have that first screen ad that we have to sit through to get to the TrekBBS (cuurently for Angels & Demons) be an ad for the new movie?

Let's face it, the people in the whole world least in need of Trek XI advertising to motivate their butts to the theater are right HERE. If Paramount wastes their ad dollars on us, I'm going to write them a nasty letter.

I meant the very first thing you see ( or at least I see) after you type "trekbbs" there's a full page ad that is currently for Angels & Demons and was for the game Resident Evil 5 before that.
I was wondering if was worth it or not for that ad to be a Trek one.

Worth it to who? It's not worth it to the advertisers and they're the ones who decide.

Only place I see that is a school (Cookies at home?), and even there I don't actually see the advert.
