Broken Bow (again)

Triton46

Captain
Captain
Just got all 4 seasons on DVD for Christmas. I must say, the first season is better than I remember it, though my favorites are from Season 3 - 4.

Anywho, do we ever find out what the Klingon was carrying? The episode ends with the Klingons locating some hidden data in the Klingon's blood, but I can't recall if this ever comes up again.

I thought it was another storyline dropped.......although you can make the assumption it was for the forehead remedy.

No we ever learned and we weren't suppose beyond realizing it wasn't a "thank you" for returning Klaang.

So it wasn't a dropped storyline. As for all the data hidden in Klaang's DNA, it was evidence Sarin(the Suliban) secretly injected into him that showed the Cabal was the ones responsible for destabilizing the Empire.

Like startrekwatcher said, it was evidence that ended the conflict that the Cabal set up between the Klingon Houses.

Yup, saw that. I was responding at the same time. Where do we learn that the information is related to the Cabal? (just curious)

The first Klingon on Earth … he gets shot with a shotgun … so 1950’s. If they had it in black and white … if they use a rocket ship … if they use fishing line to hold up the ship in space … the era of star trek would have been set back half a century. Glad the farmer did not say, I think he has a ray gun … we are back in Kansas Toto … were back were back.

Klaang was carrying evidence of the Suliban cabal's involvement in efforts to foment a civil war among the Klingons. Unbeknownst to Klaang, the message was "hidden" in his blood.

ETA: Sarin tells Archer about the message Klaang is carrying.

You'd think after that the Klingons would be hunting after the Suliban. In fact DETAINED would've made a helluva lot more impact if the Klingons were imprisoning all Suliban.

What a great idea. I swear, sometimes I think the fans should have been supplying story ideas for Enterprise.
