British shows coming to Hulu

yes you can stop it airing on other TV, but this isnt about TV, its about the web.

Virgin 1 should not care about the web for two reasons

1) they dont have iPlayer of there own

2) its already on the web, its just being watch illegally, so really the damage has already been done. CBS might as well make the money they can.

of course if Virgin 1 does pick up HIMYM I would expect it to be removed from HULU UK, and future episodes not to be put up at all.

My point was people do buy exclusive rights, not that you can stop it being online. But what you're saying doesn't make sense. You're saying they shouldn't care that it's online, then you're saying that they should take it off if someone gets the rights. Why? If they're not supposed to care then why would you take it off?

no whilst the show does not have a TV channel as a home, it should be on sites like Hulu generating money via ads.

however if Virgin 1 was to buy How I Meet Your Mother from S3, S3 and whatever else Virgin 1 buys should come off, to allow them the viewers.
