Breakfast Foods and Coffee Thread

Do you prefer liquid creamer in your coffee versus powdered "creamer"?

Personally, I use Half-n-Half, but I'm sure there are other preferences amongst the Folk.

And I hope no one spills coffee in their lap in the course of their day!

Like you, I use Half-and-Half. (After stepping down from table cream a number of years ago to try to reduce my fat intake. I know there are other, less fat options still, but this is as low as I'm willing to go with coffee cream! ;) )

And I also occasionally use the flavoured creamers too, mostly for after-dinner coffees. I generally try to stick with the "fat-free" versions of them where possible. But International Delights Chocolate Mint is a particular weakness, and it has no "fat-free" version! :D

On another note, though, I would have vastly preferred that you had used a thread title that was more descriptive of what this thread was actually about, rather than the click-baity version here that doesn't convey anything useful. If you would like to change it, please let me know. Thank you.

When I drink coffee, I prefer actual milk.

Have never been a fan of milk in coffee.

Such was my intention, but if you must, call it 'coffee'. I intended a light hearted 'click-bait' to ask people
mundane stuff while they fight the Mire that is todays world.

I prefer tea.

Just over the past two or so years I drink it black. Before though if there was no fresh milk I'd use long life, which is better in coffee than tea. You can taste it in tea more and for some reason the lite long life milk is better than full cream. Less fat molecules tasting 'treated'.

I had no idea that milk in coffee was so popular. Based on the locations of the people who gave that as an answer, I wonder if that is more common outside of North America?

Thank you. This is probably going to sound harsher than I actually intend it, so apologies in advance... but personally speaking, I don't really find click-bait light-hearted. It's generally just annoying.

At home: Black, plenty sugar, maybe the tiniest pinch of salt, that takes out the bitterness, and must be tiny, or you just have salty coffee. Old British Army trick.

When out: cappuccino (very popular in Australia). You know pretty much what you're going to get each time. A long black made by others is, for me, hot and miss, and often miss.

Hey Uncle Rogi, how's Marcel and the The Eloquent Page?

Milk and sugar in my coffee, please. And no fair reading my mind about what books I like.
Marcel LaPlume XVII is being his usual food-stealing self, and I can't keep the Page open enough
for some folk...Thx for asking!

;)

EDIT: Oops, I forgot it's 2018, so it would be Marcel III . Now, I had some Wild Turkey
somewhere... Damn it, Marc!
