You make me jealous, Scorpio. I wish there was a Target in my neck of the woods. Frakkin' Manhattan...

Yeah..I didn't even expect to see them..and we have really been enjoying this show...i love it..and so does my five year old...especially last week's GUY GARDNER appearence..

Is the 66-ish -mobile among the toys? Not to mention, a non-specialized figure of Cousin Brucie (Wayne, not Morrow). The only Bats I saw so far were all the non-standard colors for this or that mission. I hope the Dark Knight from GA's appearance is there.

You and my son both...that BATMAN outfit was really cool!! I saw the Batmobil yes...and Blue Beetles car/plane as well...

Hey, when the series came out I predicted it was an excuse to release yet another set of action figures!

Where can I get mine?

Hey, when the series came out I predicted it was an excuse to release yet another set of action figures!

So there are action figures, so what? Most cartoons get action figures. You have to pay the bills if you want to put a show on the air. It's totally fallacious to assume that just because a profit motive exists, the show can't have quality or intelligence or sincere creative drive behind it. There was plenty of merchandising for Batman: The Animated Series, Gargoyles, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and other great animated shows.

Anyone who's heard James Tucker speak for more than two minutes knows that he has a deep fanboy love for the Batman comics of the Dick Sprang era. And this is a James Tucker-produced show done in the style of Batman comics of the Dick Sprang era. There's no question that it's a labor of love. So your attempt to dismiss the show as some shallow mercenary exercise falls apart on the face of it.

Well..this show, BRAVE AND THE BOLD, is getting better each week, Chris, so I don't listen to these critics..

And last week's Green Lantern/Green Arrow/Demon/Merlin episode I would put up against anything JL or JLU did....it was a great episode with humor, and a great Batman-alternate outfit...

So, to me, these nay-sayers are just grumpy old men who have nothing else to do but hate on these shows...well...I feel sorry for them and they have my pity...

And I said "Where can I get mine" so what's your point? If I don't think it's a "labour of love" that's an opinion I have a right to. Tell you what, leave me out of it, and just talk about the show, and we'll get along fine ignoring each other.

Its a good show, so I don't care who is making it. Tucker is right. Batman has been walking around with a stick up his butt for many years now..some of us would like a 'lighter'version, ala 1970s, to entertain our kids...and Batman Brave and the Bold is the ticket...it is already lightyears ahead of the dreadful THE BATMAN series....

And...the show is a hit...so, keep it coming Tucker. Not there is room for two Batmans. One for those who grew up with morbid backgrounds..and one for those who just want to have fun watching a cartoon that is made for the ENTIRE family..

RS, are you sure you saw the B+B Batmobile? I'm not seeing any signs of it on any website of any kind. Could you have maybe seen the 1/18 1966 Batmobile instead? (or was that the one you were referring to?)

I stand corrected Gojirob. I confused it with the SUPER FRIENDS Batmobil (which we are also collecting)

Yesterday at TOYS R US we got the Blue Scarab, which came with Blue Beetle...and Red Tornado...all we need is Green Arrow...

So last night my son and I played BRAVE AND THE BOLD. We are using his BATCAVE and JUNGLE SET from the imaginex line. We are also using the DARKSEID figure from JLU set, as well as the Green Lantern from The Batman line...when we play (We don't save them in their packages..we open them and play with them)

So...here is our Brave and Bold game line up...

Batman (Brave and Bold collection)
Aquaman
Blue Beetle
Red Tornady

then...
Krypto from the Super Friends set along with
Batcave/Jungle set...Bat copter/Bat mobil

The Question
Darkseid
Rocket Red all from the JLU line

You should see some of the other collections on that site. There are fans who scare even me, and that's saying something!

Oh, and speaking of the Super Friends Batmobile (albeit the 1970's one), it seems a likely candidate for Hot Wheels next 1/50 line of Bat-vehicles.
