"Dances with Wolves" - Denny Crane is arrested - yet again - for carrying a concealed firearm after he shoots a man in self defense who's attempting to mug him and Jerry Espenson. Meanwhile, Alan Shore fights for a sex surrogate's right to joint custody of her daughter -- while grappling with the fact that he was a former client of hers -- on "Boston Legal," MONDAY, OCTOBER 6 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Guest starring are Lainie Kazan as Judge Paula Stern, Henry Gibson as Judge Clark Brown, Jane Lynch as Joanna Monroe, Pamela Adlon as Attorney Emma Path, William Russ as A.D.A. Christopher Palmer, Chris Butler as Officer Kent Stone, Avery Kidd Waddell as Dan and Brian Howe as Martin Monrow.
Well, it'll be interesting to see how Denny manages to wriggle his way out of this one.

Wow, this one was really fantastic. Some good soul-searching on Alan's part, and Jerry's closing was hilarious.

And Denny Crane is still undefeated!

I gave it a fair. The show is ending and they do yet another "Denny shoots someone" episode, it's like their version of the "holodeck" episodes.

Assuming there will be reruns. The final season is only 13 episodes long, so presumably there's a midseason replacement waiting in the wings to take over the following week.

Which will get far below the 9.25 million & 2.4 demo the 5th season has averaged so far

I appreciated the moments where Denny drops the mask of addled "Mad Cow" victim and raging sexist/facist to show his sharp legal mind. It's what reminds me that Shatner really can still act and not just caricature.
