Same time, different night tonight...

"Indecent Proposals" - Denny Crane falls hard for cattle rancher Sunny Fields (Christine Ebersole, Tony Award winner for "Grey Gardens"), who hires him to sue the FDA in order to stop the sale of cloned meat. Meanwhile, when Shirley Schmidt's nephew - a pledged delegate - informs her that he's going to vote for another presidential candidate than the one his state voted for, she enlists the aid of Alan Shore to take him and the Democratic National Party to court, on "Boston Legal," WEDNESDAY, APRIL 30 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Guest starring are Christine Ebersole as Sunny Fields, Henry Gibson as Judge Clark Brown, Jason Earles as Mitchy Weston, Shelley Berman as Judge Robert Sanders, Joe Morton as Attorney Steve Duprey, Aaron Lustig as Wolfgang Blitzkrieg, Timothy Omundson as Attorney Bill Withers and Cornell Womack as Dr. Darryl Grant
Yay! Judge Brown! Judge Sanders! Looks like there'll be some shocking(!) poopycock tonight!

Nice opening tonight, with the "Are we still on at 10?" conversation between Denny, Carl, Whitney, and Clarence. They even referenced BL not having been picked up for a fifth season...

eta: "I'M A ROCKET MAN!"

I just missed the first half-hour. My DVR was recording something else, by accident (something that could be recorded later this evening). Oh well. What did I miss?

I thought it was Good. I got a real kick out of Shirley's smug little nephew Mitchie--He reminded me of a lot of Obama supporters--Yes We Can:guffaw:I was cheering for Alan to kick the little twerp's "snideybutt".:techman:

Once again Alan gave a good speech, loved the way Shirley and Alan captured in a microcosm the antagonism that exists between Hillary and Obama supporters. Denny post coitus with his cowboy boots on:lol: I liked his rancher girlfriend. I wouldn't mind seeing her make a return appearance. I could have cared less about the cloned cow trial but I loved Denny's love gazes directed at his girlfriend while on the stand. And as usual the balcony scene was great.

We all know Kelly is a Democrat voter but its hard to tell from this episode whihc one he prefers because despite the case being for Hiliary, he used Alan well to balance it out for Obama.

Another great episode.

I like the fact that ABC treats the show so poorly that the writers have to write into the episode when the show will be on next.

And the ratings for last night were terrible, and they would have had 3 million more viewers if they just kept it on Tuesdays.

Since I don't follow the internal ABC politics, does anyone know who Denny was referring to when he referenced "some whackjob, homegrown who could cancel you at any second"?

Is he referring to a specific person? That's pretty bold if he is. Bold, either way.

Great show. I would love to see it continue. If not, we got four solid seasons. Not bad at all.

There appears to be one person in ABC who wants the show gone. I still feel that the show warrants and will get if not a little shorter thna usual...5th and final season.

In that case, what a ballsy line! I love it!

Average. The Denny stuff was good. But I still don't understand how that senile Judge Sanders can remain on the bench. I know BL pushes the limits of reality on occasion, but the fact that this guy hasn't been put to pasture yet is too much of a stretch for me, even for this show.
