What other official Borg story ideas have been pitched for ENT other than this one?

According to Judith Reeves-Stevens and Garfield Reeves-Stevens, they pitched a story for an episode of Star Trek: Enterprise where Alice Krige would play a Starfleet medical technician who made contact with the Borg from "Regeneration". The encounter would have seen the birth of the Borg Queen.

Wasn't the borg Queen from an alien species though?

I'd have loved to see it. Of course, I'm imagining it WAY better than it'd actually be, with super-badass Archer blowing her body away at the end to save the day, leading to a Darth Vader-style surgery scene where she becomes the Borg Queen we all know.

Many fans would, of course, have had continuity-related meltdowns.

Apparently there's very little of the actual biological body that is needed to make a borg queen.
