Book with young Peter Kirk and a young Klingon

I read a specific Star Trek novel once that I would love to own, but I cannot remember the title, so I have been unable to find it so far.

Has anyone here read the Star Trek novel that took place just after the events of the 6th movie? Peter Kirk was young in this book and found himself thrown across the path of a young female Klingon (warrior) who supported Azetbur's tenuous new leadership amid conspirators to overthrow her new regime. To the best of my memory, Jim Kirk only featured in this novel via a brief video-conference in one scene.

I seem to recall another major character making an appearance near the end, but if I did remember more details, I wouldn't want to list the context and spoil what I think is an excellent novel for those who haven't read it. I hope this will be enough to cue the memory of any kind person who has taken in this tale. Overall, I was very impressed with this novel, and I thought the story's continuity followed The Undiscovered Country beautifully.

I am a brand-new member of this BBS, so I cannot send private messages yet, but I welcome messages or posts from anyone who knows the title (or the author) of this well-written book. Thank you in advance!

"In 2293, (TOS novel: Sarek), Peter was drugged and kidnapped by members of the Keep Earth Human League (unbeknownst to the KEHL) handed over to the Klingon Kamarag who wanted to use him as a way to lure and kill his uncle. Kamarag held Captain James T. Kirk responsible for the death of his protegee, Kruge, who died on the Genesis Planet. However this plan backfired on him spectacularly when Peter and his niece Valdyr fell in love and escaped from his compound."

Thank you both! The plot summaries I had read of Sarek did not seem to match; evidently I have forgotten too much of the plot to recognize it. I will find a copy at once!
