Book Order

In the old days, it used to be easy to read Trek books. For the most part, they weren't related in any way, but even still, they were numbered. New books are very much related, but are not numbered.

I just finished "Losing the Peace" and have no idea where to go next.

Is there a list somewhere with the correct reading order. I'm sure I missed more than a few good stories in recent years...

Thanks!

That's kind of a complicated question, really. Publishing order is usually the best way to go, and there are a couple of sites out there that let you figure that out pretty easily.

Memory Beta is a tremendous resource (search for, for instance, "DS9 Relaunch" or "TNG Relaunch" or "Voyager relaunch" or "Star Trek: Titan"). I also recommend http://www.well.com/~sjroby/lcars/ - it's a privately maintained site with extensive cross-listed information about all the novels.

If you're just concerned with the recent 24th century stuff, though, it goes pretty much like this:

(optional: first Voyager relaunch, the Christie Golden novels)
1) A Time To... miniseries
2) Overlapping: first four Titan books; TNG Relaunch from A Death In Winter through Greater Than The Sum; Articles Of The Federation
3) Destiny trilogy
4) Overlapping: A Singular Destiny; Losing The Peace; next 2 Titan books; and the Voyager second relauch (Full Circle, Unworthy)
5) Typhon Pact miniseries

Losing the Peace is the most recent TNG novel prior to the upcoming Typhon Pact: Paths of Disharmony. So aside from that, you don't really have to go in any particular direction from there; the various series are pretty much independent aside from the Destiny crossover.
