I was wondering for those who read the novels in the series
Was the 1995 Deepwater Black and 2 sequels good with teenagers as main characters?

We had a "Deepwater Black" thread a while ago and remember people posting divided thoughts about the series. For me I loved the show, although I've never read the books. It was my first exposure to both Nicole deBoer and Gordon Michael Woolvett.
